About the Festival

The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the world’s largest oyster festival and has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by Southeastern Tourism Society. Highlights include the legendary “Oyster Shucking” and “Oyster Eating” Contests, live music on the main stage, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, a Children’s Area and a “Food Court” showcasing a variety of local favorite restaurants to satisfy everyone’s taste.

—Music: Our headliner this year will be “The Distinguished Gentleman.” They are are an 8-piece party band in Charleston, SC that plays the best of timeless rock and soul….from Elvis to Daft Punk. See them in action here.

—Contests: The Oyster Shucking and Eating Contests will begin at noon. Sign-ups will be from 10-noon underneath the main stage tent.

Ticket Information

Gates open at 10:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm.

Rain or shine event. No pets, coolers or outside food and beverages, please. Oyster knives and gloves will be available for purchase at the event.

GENERAL ADMISSION

$17.50 In Advance or $25 Day Of Event

Tickets are available at Boone Hall Farms, or at any official Visitors Center. General admission tickets for children ten and under are free with a paying adult. Advance ticket sales will end January 28th at 11:59pm.

Parking

There is no charge for general parking​! ​​Attendants will be available to guide you to a parking spot. For guests entering the event using the Highway 17N entrance, there ​are park and ride shuttles ​that will take you to the festival entrance. Handicap ​parking is available. For ​$20.00 CASH ONLY preferred parking is available first come first serve.

For your convenience their are two entrances. The Main Entrance is located at 1235 Long Point Road. The Hwy 17 Entrance is located at 2330 US Highway 17. If arriving via Uber, Lyft or taxi use The Main Entrance
